Processing time for Parent/Grandparent Sponsorship intake 2018

Hi All,

I was lucky enough to be admitted into the 2018 parent/grandparent family sponsorship intake. I have submitted all the supporting documents as of March 31, 2018.

I am just wondering how long does it take for them to actually process my application so I can plan ahead to make arrangements for them landing, accommodations and other matters.

I believe it is 4-5 years from the date of application. There seems to be a big backlog.

4-5 year is under for the application received before this new program.

I believe the new program is much faster.
