Hi, is there anyone who has applied for study permit through VFS Riyadh?
I applied for study permit on March 8, 2018, but I haven't received any update regarding my application status yet.

I applied online , my application was sent to Riyadh .

Applied on 22 Feb
Approved 11 March
Passport submitted on 12th March VFS Dammam .

Hi, how long they give u visa, according to your course or passport expirey near validity .

According to your course...visa is usually 90 days longer than the duration of ur course

According to course + 3 extra months so we get a PGWP in time .

Guys!
Just had a query. I usually check the vfs tracking website regarding my visa application. It used to say "your processed passport has been sent to Abu Dhabi on 26th march" .
But today it says "no records found". So what actually happened? Is this a problem?

You might have entered your tracking ID or birth date wrong. That's why. It has happened to me quite a few times.

Visitors visas can be according to the passport's validity but study permits are always 90 days longer than the duration of your course

Thanks for your response. In my case it's 7th week and counting. Don't know what's going on; getting nervous as I'm running short of time. I have to submit my resignation and get clearance from my work place in case I get approval for study permit.

Getting nervous; I am running short of time as I have to submit my resignation and get clearance from my work place in case I get approval of study permit. Is there nay way to contact Canadian embassy in Riyadh regarding my case?

I applied on March 11th through VFS Jeddah. Got approved by April 11th. I am an expat.
