I submitted my application and it was delivered last week, i do not know how long it is going to take to process. It is a sellers market here in the states and our house sold on the first day. We want to get our kids registered in school so my wife is going to move with the kids once the school year is done next month.

Am I allowed to reside in Canada during the process of them reviewing my application, i am going to be traveling back to the states every 2-3 months for 1 week for my job.

You cannot "live" in Canada, but you can "visit" Canada for periods of up to six months at a time. If you leave Canada, the six month timer resets when you re-enter.

You will have a very different experience at the border if you show up with a couple of suitcases saying you'd like to stay with your wife for a few months while your PR application is processing, compared to if you show up with all your earthly belongings and a moving truck. If she plans to cross with the belongings from your home or a moving truck, you should not be with her at the time of crossing.

If you are going to be working remotely from Canada, keep in mind your employer should not have a Canadian presence and your pay needs to continue going into a US bank account.

Good luck!

That is what I was finding as well, she is going up in May i would be going up in June once we closed on the house down here. Is there a limit as to how many times i can enter and leave during the application process?

Generally in terms of receiving your AOR the application is checked for completeness, not accuracy
