Those who Waiting EXPRESS ENTRY in Six Months and not finalized!!!!

Hi guys our aor is july 27 2017.we called cic and all the informations that we got is that eligibility is passed.and that they are processing our backround check.she also told us that if we cross september 11 2018 than we will have to call them again and at this point they can ask cic to make thing faster.does anyone know what does this date mean ? Thanks and wish you all speedy ppr

I received similar information when I called CIC. They gave me a date of September 15 2018. Only after this, they can contact the security agency directly about the application. It is good that they gave some sort of date. Hopefully we recieve the PPR before that

We dont really know.because a consultant is working on our case so we dont have a full access to our profile, he does...and he sends us screenshots to keep us informed.
So based on the first screenshot issued on november 2 2017, the backround check was already in process at this date but i cant tell exactely when it started.

So we can contact them even if we have filed the case through an agent ? . & at what time should I call them ?

Some of them are soooo mean...don't worry I submitted June and yet to receive ppr, just be patient and hang in there.

My AOR is also July 27th, 2017! My eligibility was still in review required until now! I ordered new notes and I will call them tomorrow to ask if eligibility is passed or is it still review required! If still review required, l will cancel my file as l think it would take forever for them to process my file!

Oh hope that you'll find your eligibility passed then. Im wondering what they are doing for all this time if not ??

Sure you can.you will also have an automatic answer on your file to keep you updated.
The call center is opened from 8am to 4pm canada time.first time we called at 5pm and the second at 2pm algeria time.we had to wait 30 min.

The agent was very kind and polite...and to be honest this waiting is killing me, mostly when i see others with recent aor receiving ppr and not us, im happy for them but it looks so unfair : (

It's been 13 months today since AOR. Was wondering if I could use some of the funds I've put aside as POF. Will that be a problem? Anyone?

Thanks for the motivation! I have paper file going on too for PR and it shows eligibility passed, applied for BOWP too! I'm pretty sure until they clear my eligibility in express Entry file too, l will not get BOWP approved! And l need to renew my driver license too and l can't wait 2 years for eligibility to get passed!

I understand what you are going through and I know that whatever you hear won't make you feel better other than receiving the PPR email.

HOWEVER! you have to go on with your life instead of dwelling on the fact that others are getting their PPRs so much faster than you. I was also dying around 5-6 months period when seeing posts everyday of people with similar AOR dates as me. Also, someone I know, who applied much later than me had their application approved in 4 months since AOR. And there are those why gets theirs approved in a month of two... which we shouldnt even go there for our mental sanity.

It truly is unfair and even to this date, it affects with my daily life as i wonder why is my file stuck?
