Oh yea, you are correct. I am not sure if it will be 20th April or if it will change. Darn need to wait now.
What was your result date mentioned in the TRF? Was it the same day when you first got the result via SMS/Website?

Particularly , Writing is something I have to be well prepared .
My Situation is scary !!
My Ielts on 3/3 8.5/8.5/7(S)/6.5(W).
( EOR 4/19 : No Change)
And
IELTS 7/4 --> Result Today , Screwed up big time ! LRSW : 6.5/7.5/7/6.5. ( Speaking , Writing remained constant anyways)
So, two Bad news in one Day (4/19)
EOR : No Change
2nd Ielts even worse
awesome ! 499 is a great score , you will get it in less than. a week ..

Kanu please forgive me for asking but why such a haste? Why not follow the general protocol so as to avoid any problem in the future? You see patience is the key here. I can understand your nerves, but better late than sorry... good luck.

I mentioned different dates but I uploaded the color scan of trf, they will see the actual trf at aor no need to fret. Even if you say the correct date they still search by trf number

I'll advise that you wait for the TRF to come. Rather, chase the IDP to release your score cards tracking number as soon as they can. Then if you're really desperate, chase the courier agency, open the score card and update it. All the best!! Waiting for you on the other side!

HI I also tried calling the British council last year to get the TRF but they said they can't give on phone it is confidential, so yo have to wait for hard copy..
Sorry to hear that you did not get your desired score. For writing I wrote an essay & the letter every single day for a month & half (in 45 minutes) I rechecked it for grammar, spelling mistakes etc. Then I count on repetition of words or sentences & try to improve them. Essay structure is the most important factor, (not just the paragraph structure but how to write each paragraph) I learned 13 different type of complex/compound sentences and used them as they fit in the essay. I memorized 50 luxury uncommon words with some linking words to connect my ideas. See below for my essay format.
Intro: 3-4 Sentences (3 preferred)
1.Write simple sentence about the general idea of the topic (not the question),
2. paraphrase the question.
3.Give your answer (optional you can add new clause or start a new sentence) give atleast two supporting idea for your answer.(just ideas no explanation)
Body (2 paragraph preferred) (4-5 sentences)
1. Topic sentence ( write the general idea of your answer as you mentioned in the intro)
2. Give more supportig details for your topic sentence.
3. Give explanation for your idea. ( introduce a new (your 2nd idea) that way you will get points for cohesion & coherence) in your sentence
4 (or 4 & 5) give a good example
conclusion (2 sentences)
Rephrase your answer from intro and give a general idea of the essay. Don’t introduce or add new info/ideas.
