May I ask what was you status in Canada when you applied? I want to apply for study permit from within Canada after I enter with visitor visa. I have admission from a university with funds and I don't know if with visitor visa I can apply for inside Canada or not? And if I have to do biometrics again?

Hi. I am under work permit. You may check your eligibility to apply online at canada.com website. But as far as I know, since you are under visitor visa I think you will submit your application at VAC in LA. If you already did biometrics, it is not needed anymore. But the immigration officer may request if required. As for me, i did not do another biometrics.
