you are looking at 4-6 months between "DM" and Oath..That makes it as painful as possible. Does anyone have average number of days it is taking for Oath after Test in Scarborough?

you can take a look at the tracker and that will help you understand. as far as i know there are people who got DM in November and still waiting for oath invite. That makes it as painful as possible. Does anyone have average number of days it is taking for Oath after Test in Scarborough?
I think it’s more painful when you get DM and don’t really know if it’s a yes or no the majority of time it’s a yes but they could just tweak it a little and put DM your file is approved.Per the tracker, it seems no one from October has gotten Oath Letter Yet. At best a few people have gotten to DM that's all.
How painful....
i believe they want to ensure everyone takes the expected amount of time of 12 months. Making is faster is perhaps against their usual nature. What an experience it is going to be!!you are looking at 4-6 months between "DM" and Oath..
Yes, as long as they finalize applications within the timeline posted on IRCC website they are good. Technically there's no issue to be fixed, so i doubt there would be any improvement in the near future.i believe they want to ensure everyone takes the expected amount of time of 12 months. I'm in te same situation. Applied in October, single. Test on the 24th of Jan.Applied in September as a family.
Test on January 24th, DM the following day.
Waiting anxiously.
Although we dont know why IRCC moves applications from Mississauga to Scarborough, given the fact that Scarb already has huge delays while Mississauga is way ahead in the game, I dont think you can get to choose this. If you are writing your test in Scarb, you will most likely have to wait for oath in Scarb.. unless IRCC decides to move you back to Mississauga. There have been cases where applicants have been asked to go to some other random office for oath. Again this is something IRCC decides.Folks, I received my GMCS notes today. The primary office is IRCC Mississauga & the Secondary Office as St. Clair however I received a notification on April 3rd to write the test in Scarborough. I understand that applicants that have to deal with Scarborough are having lots of delays as they don't get their Oath notifications on the test day & have been waiting for months after ECAS updates to Decision Made.
Is it possible that I have been given a test appointment in Scarborough but the rest of my application ie. oath etc. will be at IRCC Mississauga as I live in Mississauga & the office is literally a 10 minute drive from my home.
Does anyone have
Interesting, did your interviewer tell you anything about when to expect your Oath? I would imagine for a July applicant doing the test in April, there shouldn't be waiting time more than 1-2 months for an Oath invite..Okay everyone, I have been lurking for a while and want to clear a lot of the false information going on in this thread.
I just had my test and would like to let you all know that I asked 6 people around me and 4 of them applied in July 2017 and two had applied in August 2017. There were a lot of people at Scarborough test site (no, I did not ask anything more from them).
If anyone has a test coming up, please ask the people around you as well when they had applied. Maybe this test was for a late batch?
Sorry for the bad news... there are a lot more applicants if this test was just a sample size.
As crazy as it can get I believe. I ordered my GMCS notes just to get a better understanding of my application processing. I also contacted the local MP office and right after that I received my test notification. Now, I am worried that I have to go thru the delays of Scarborough.Although we dont know why IRCC moves applications from Mississauga to Scarborough, given the fact that Scarb already has huge delays while Mississauga is way ahead in the game, I dont think you can get to choose this. I heard the MP office can help only if you are passed the 12 month processing time. As long as you are within 12 months, you dont have a choice but to wait.As crazy as it can get I believe.
