Extension of Visitor Visa V-1 from Singapore

Dear Forum members,

I am an Indian passport holder currently working from Singapore. My wife is currently working in Toronto on ICT work permit which is valid till January 2019. Her company also applied for my visitor visa which is valid till June 2018. I want to extend my visitor V-1 visa and once I reach Toronto, I will apply for my open work permit.

My question is, can I apply for the V-1 extension from Singapore at Canadian embassy and what is the process and timeline for the same? Do I need to take medical exams again?

Hi

A TRV can't be extended. You would have to apply for a new one.
