2. Subject - Confirmation of Online Application Transmission

Yeah did the upfront medical and attached police clearance certificate in the LOE

Who told you to do pcc ?
Study Permits don't need pcc .

Anyway , first you have to wait for medical to be passed .
Then starts eligibility review .

Keep checking your cic account everyday or two .

Oh okay...will I get the message the medical review has started or something... I read it in CIC website that getting medical and PCC ready would speed up the process...Yeah I'm checking it everyday

That's good .
Yeah medical is fine .
But PCC is needed only for PR , WP , not for SP .

In rare cases you need PCC , if you have a criminal background .

I applied for student visa on 24 March,2018...I didn't get any update regarding medical till the date..

If me and my family already have TRVs do I need to apply for study permit with my family (2 kids and spouse) or can I apply alone since they already have TRVs??
And doI need to show funds for me only if I apply alone??

5 weeks excluding transit time between visa application center to Canadian Embassy. This gets updated every week on CIC website. Normally this is processing time for student visa in India.

I submitted on Mar24th and on Mar 25th i got message that "application is updated".And after that no update or message till now. I did my medical two weeks upfront.
