Do you guys think is it real to get PR in less than 18 months? The CIC timeline says it is 18 months for the PNP PR applicants.... so long...
Are there any cases where a PR was finalized in less than 18 months, let’s say, in 12-13 months?
some case they got in 12-14 months

Hi, Please clarify this for me as I received second medical letter without informing me that my first medical results was passed or failed. did you receive second medical letter after performing your first medical test? Did you perform your medical test two times?

As someone else mentioned it will likely take the full 18 months, they are ridiculously slow.

My advice is just move on with your life and don't think about it, it'll arrive one day.

I know the guy who applied in March 2017, and got the PPR last month, March 2018.
Yes, some applicants are faster, PNP Paper based.

So what would be the main reason that some pnp applicants’ applications processed faster and finalized so quickly? PNP paper based applicants right now sitting at 18 months processing time according to the cic but how accurate is that?

Yep, I can't agree with you more, officially they are saying 20% of the applicants in 2017 were done in 11 months.
The other 80% took up to 16 months, and now it is 18 months.
However fortunately, current trend looks getting faster, since they have changed some of their procedures. For example, they start the IP2 before the Medical. And many mid and end of 2017 applicants get the Medical way faster.
