Im 30th aug fsw but my IP2 was near your IP2 and i got reply from DJM saying that I have on going background/security checks !!

@BillHyatt could you please tell is there any difference in Background checks and security checks ?

Dear Billhyatt, thanks for all your support and predications, however I will like you to explain in detail what exactly could be happening to my file. Below are my details:

ITA: 6th December 2017
AOR: 14th December 2017
Medical Passed: 21st December 2017
IP1: 21st December 2017
Job Mail: 29th January 2018
Review of additional Documents: We do not need additional documents
Background Check: Your application is in progress. We will send you message when we start background check

I Sent a mail to CPC Ottawa and London Visa Office to know where my application is processed.
Got reply from both on 5th February that it is in London Visa Office.
I suspect the FTD was 29th of January 2018.
After the above I have sent up to four mails to inquire about the status of my application and the reply has been:

Dear Sir / Madam,

This is in response to your enquiry.

Your application is in process or waiting to be reviewed by an immigration officer. No further action is required by you at this time.

Our office will contact the applicant when a decision has been made or if further information is required. Immigration decisions and information requests are sent by post or email to the addresses provided in the application.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum. Sincerely,

Guys I just noticed that the status of my application turned into updated (it was submitted an hour ago) but there was no update inside. What does it indicates?
