NOC 4011 or 4021

Hey Folks, I am in great dilemma I am teaching in a college from 3 years to undergraduate students and has also teached in university for 1 year to post graduate students......which NOC I am under....Experts plz advise

Do you teach at a university? Then you would be NOC 4011.

NOC 4021 is for vocational instructors, community colleges, technical programs, etc.

Agreed with picklee.
4011 would be more suitable as it reflects undergrad level teaching (assuming you have a Master/PhD or other equivalent).

Hi what did you chose... 4021 or, 4011.

I am a doctorate too and teach in a college and since Iast 3 years an autonomous body under a ministry

My situation is same as yours.one consultant suggested me to take no 4021 as our duties match with the same more than 4011.
Also for university professor I think they need PhD. So if you r a doctorate then u can opt it.I am only post graduate so I take 4021.main thing is matching of duties

thanks.. any idea if it depends which NOC has more demand so we go with that to get selected and approved fast..
Also university professor 4011 even says masters not only Ph.D. so i am not able to decide.... Asst Professor designation matches with 4011 ...but people say thats actual university where do some research work also...

According to me 4011 is the least demanded category. Even in Manitoba it is excluded as non required.same is in pei province. For the same reason I opted 4021.I think that for 4011 at lest paper published in reputed generals or books written like things are required.oso if u r taking 4011 then u should have very strong profile

you mean papers published during work experience as Asst Professor... or even during Masters Education..?
I published many papers during my masters

Yes both papers are counted.international conferences certificates etc

so as i co-published some papers in conferences when i was pursuing masters, and as you said those are also counted, thus can i choose NOC 4011 in this case?
