Simplest way is to look at wording in your online profile:

IP1:
Background Check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

IP2:
Background Check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Normally your security screening date is same as your IP2 date.

I ordered for two sets of GCMS notes, however I am not able to figure out the exact timelines, if anyone knows how to read/decipher them, please help me out. just be sure to do some pre-processing before sharing your notes, like shielding your name, DOB, address etc. Better to be cautious.
