Hello All -
My CRS score is 408 and I am in the pool from April, 2017. MY NOC code is 2173 which ontario is currently looking for. I havent received any NOI for last 4 months, Do you know why this would be the case? Do I need to recreate my profile? I am a CLB 9.
Ontario usually sends NOIs to newly recreated profiles.

After waiting in the pool for 7 months, I finally recreated my profile in May 2017 and got an NOI in 2 days.

Good luck.

Hi,

As per the last discussion on this topic, I have received an interest from Ontario today.

Can you please help me with the below questions?

1.Should I go ahead with this?

1.What are the documents required to show them if I go ahead with this?

2.Once I submit the documents how much time does it take to receive an invitation from Ontario?

3.Is it a PR invitation that I get from Ontario and that I will be a PR holder for that particular state?

4.If I move to Ontario and during the span of 2 years if I get a job invitation from another state can I move and go ahead in accepting the offer?

5.Can I appear for IELTS exam there as well if need be?

I feel a bit lost :S

Please do get back to me on the above.

Thanks a ton in advance.

Hello,

I received a NOI from Ontario today under the Ontario Human Capital Priorities stream. I have six months to reply to the NOI now and my current CRS score is 403.

The eligibility criteria of Ontario Human Capital Priorities stream is to have a profile in the Express Entry pool and score a minimum of 400 points under the CRS and the score must remain at or above 400 during both the Ontario nomination processing stage and at the federal application for permanent residence processing stage.

My birthday is on 16th August post which my score will drop to 398. I intend to submit my application for OINP by this June post which I may get an ITA in couple of months. What are the chances of my application getting rejected due to the drop in my scores as it may not meet the eligibility of federal application at the processing stage after August 16.

If in any case, I apply for the OINP in June and dont receive an ITA by August then what are the chances of my profile getting rejected and is there any alternative to it.

Regards,
Mruns

Hello,
I read the conversation and want to understand from you all that is there a specific time within which we should apply for OINP. My CRS score is 362 and i received a NOI from Ontario some days back but was preparing for the documents required to submit for OINP and hence delayed. Is the timeframe 6 months?
The twist is finally I arranged for all the documents today and decided to apply for the OINP but received a notification that they have currently held the nominations and will re-open to apply soon. Any thoughts on this please? Require your expertise and suggestions as I am totally confused.

Apply for OINP asap as they are processing application on average 12-23 days. This mean you will receive Nomination soon and ITA in the very next draw. So if you apply by the end of July your dates will be fixed that's mean after the date of AOR it will not matter.

This is my understanding and anyone else may have an opposite view.
You said OINP are processing application on average 12-23 days. Does that mean that we need to submit the OINP asap after receiving the NOI? Because I haven't submitted the OINP yet even after receiving NOI as i was waiting for the documents that are required for submission. Please revert. Thanks in advance.

They have reached their limits and no new registration is accepted at the moment. The average time was applicable at the time I wrote that post.

You should gather documents and wait for the time in future if they re-open applications this year otherwise you will have to wait for next year for OINP.

I hope this will clear things.

Good Luck!

Any pattern to re-open applications? Any tentative time when they can re-open it since my NOI is only valid for 6 months! :(

Depends on number of rejections and submission from those already registered yet have not submitted documents. Maybe in September or late December but it will be for couple of days or even for few hours.

I don't have any idea about when they will re-open but only thing I predict is they will re-open atleast once before reaching Quota.

Good Luck!

Is it something like that the OINP issues NOI to the newly created EE profile frequently as compared with the older EE profiles ?. I have CRS score of 421 and yet not i have received NOI. I created my profile on 1 November 2017. What could be the reason behind this ? Should i create a new EE profile ? Please help. My NOC code is 4021

Hello all. I got the Invite from Ontario on12 Feb with CRS 438. if I go for Ontario invite I would have to pay 80k extra(1500CAD). Shall I wait for express entry rounds to get an invite or shall I go with OINP ? Can I get EE ITA even if I have already got the Ontario invite (not nomination)? Please guide as I have very few days left to act accordingly.

you have till 26th march (45 days) to submit to ON. if by 20 March you didnt receive ITA then you submit to ON. i think it will be better to go federal rather then PNP.

Many people in your shoes would accept the ITA and ignore the NOI because for them NOI is just another way of adding more points to their CRS and eventually receiving an ITA.

Also, the OINP application processing time adds to your overall PR processing time - it takes roughly 2 to 3 weeks for OINP to be processed after which you're placed in the pool with 600 additional points and receive and ITA in the next draw. And then you begin your PR application which takes up to 6 months to be processed.

The only people who accept the OINP and decline the ITA would be those who really want to settle in Ontario and see the nomination as a first step towards that goal.

I applied for OINP because my points are low (403)and I was tired of waiting for my turn in the pool.

Take some time to ponder over your options. Talk to more people on this forum and then make an informed decision.

Good luck.

How do I get an NOI?? does it happen on its own via my express entry profile or do I have to perform an action for this ?
