I think still some April applicants are waiting for their DM

I’m april 3 applicant and got decision made on feb 26 but no ppr

This is strange! I am actually shocked to read this! I can't understand how come they're still processing the April and May files! Ignore the exclamations lol but if the files are already processed in Canada what are they doing holding up the files in Delhi

they are not even processing the May files. they have randomly picked 3-4 May files so far. majority of us are waiting. they are done most of April- few are waiting.the files are processed in canada- medical and criminal are usually always done- the straight forward applications are being held up and collecting dust in New Delhi for no reason whatsoever. BTW mind you the ones who were interviewed have already got DM/PPR from NDVO (MAY APPLICANTS!!!!) Absolutely Ridiculous

nope,
Only the sponsor's eligibility is checked in Canada, while everything else is prepared for NDVO, and it is NDVO that actually process and works on applications. CIC Canada does not decides or work on NDVO files they just prepare it and send it to them.

but I agree that NDVO is taking hell lot of a time in processing it.

Only the sponsor's eligibility is checked in Canada, while everything else is prepared for NDVO, and it is NDVO that actually process and works on applications. CIC Canada does not decides or work on NDVO files they just prepare it and send it to them.

Thanks yes its working for me as well but not sure why it’s asking me to update address at this point. Never seen anyone getting this on ecas. So little confused. The address should be of my spouse in India but it’s asking me to add Canadian address.

Any suggestions will be help, not updating for now

1 month for aor1
and another 1 month aor 2
so a total of 2 months in canada as aor2 ared issued by ndvo

i dont really think so, as the only thing citizenship can expedite is sponsors approval which takes around 25-30 days if you are a PR so not really a big difference.
