How come you received the oath letter on the same day as your test date? As far as I know it usually takes at least a few days to get the oath invite.

Mississauga CPC does that some times. Wish Scarborough could do the same!

October applicant here. Status changed to In Progress in November and no update since. Seems to be normal based on others from the spreadsheet.

Does anyone know how long the wait time is on average? My PR card expires later this Summer....

I am wondering about this also. I am traveling and need to postpone my ceremony. Have you gone through this process and does it cause any problems to the application if I request a reschedule on the oath ceremony?

my wife went through this process. She was out of the country when the invite was sent. She requested to postpone after the test date(within 30 days) and she got her invite 2-3 weeks later....no issues.

I can recall on this.

Applicant @daman8906 lives in Brantford, ON and got FP request. As you know all FP applicants are routed to St. Clair. That is the reason 'Toronto' is listed as location for @daman8906. After FP completion/ clearance, applicant got test invite from Hamilton (close distance from Brantford). Most probably, oath for @daman8906 would also be held in Hamilton. So, we can change the location of the applicant from Toronto to Hamilton.

Also, I have not noticed, so far on the forum, St. Clair office holding test or oath for FP/QA applicants. So, may be St Clair office after processing redirects applications to geographically close visa offices.

wrote a letter explaining the reason to miss the test & requesting to reschedule and enclosed boarding pass and air ticket etc.

I saw the test invite added as a line to my eCas tonight but I have not received an email yet. Is that normal?
Notice is dated March 07 and my test invite is March 29. Kindly update the sheet please.
