POST MEDICAL APPLICANTS - Waiting for VISA

The status of additional documents changed from "We need additional documents" to " we are reviewing additional documents". In how much time the review is done?
Does it mean that they are processing my application or its a temporary status irrespective if file if being processed or not?

The additional documents I have submitted are the once which were submitted after medical i.e. passport bio pages, RPRF fee receipit.

its a temporary update........it will change within 2 days.......or may be today itself.....are you septmber Medical applicant ??

I have also having same status like yours but they never demand any documents later after the file submitted and I m waiting for medical don't know what they are reviewing?

I have applied for renewing my son's passport. I am expecting to receive in a day or 2. In case I receive PPR email should I send the new passport only or both the cancelled and new passport need to be sent.
Hope renewing the passport at this time will not create any problem in granting the visa. Please advise.

They want only new passport and you have to send renew passport of your son
