My additional documents status changed from "the additional documents you provided have been uploaded " to "we do not need additional documents". Hopefully a positive sign. Do you have any idea? Is this a sign of starting soon the BCG ? Thanks

Hi everyone. I am a Canadian Citizen, I just applied to sponsor my husband from Iraq. Today I got a letter that has my uci and application number in it. What should I expect next. Thank you in advance
The letter is your Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR), which means your application is complete and has begun processing. Next, your husband will receive a letter (or email, if he provided email address) inviting him to link his application to an online account - they'll provide instructions in the letter. Soon you'll receive Sponsorship Approval (SA) once they've gone through your forms and have deemed you eligible to sponsor him - this may take 7-10 days for SA, but sometimes can take up to a month or a bit longer. After you receive SA, then your part of the process is basically done, and they'll start processing the applicant's (your husband) portion of the application.

Thanks for reply g. On the email is says “ we are pleased to inform you that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.” Is that what you are referring to as SA
