CIC Ottawa file transfer to New Delhi visa office

Hi guys,

After around 2 years of processing at CIC Ottawa, the file got transferred to New Delhi visa office, and it says they will assess for further admissibility and that the response time would be 2 months.

Has anyone had this experience yet, and know what to expect next?

This is for parent immigration.

Hi, I had the same happen to me. We had applied for PGP sponsorship in Jan 2014, and had completed parents' medical and police clearance in July 2017. They just transferred the file to New Delhi. I asked this question on another thread and someone responded saying they will likely interview my parents.

Have you heard back from the Delhi office? I am still anxiously waiting!

No, we haven't yet heard back.

So was your file transferred last year and in the note did it say that you will hear back in 2 months? If you haven't yet heard back from NDVO, did you try get in touch on the latest progress.

Our file was transferred just a few days ago, but yes it does say they will get in touch within two months.
So I guess, it is wait and watch for both of us!

Great. Thanks for that. Yes ours too was transferring just a week or so back too, so maybe it was done at the same time.

I will definitely keep you posted once we hear anything, and would really appreciate if you do the same.

My Parents file has also been transferred to New Delhi from Ottawa for further eligibility and admissibility check.
This was after medical, PCC etc were received.
Did you hear back about your file, as you too had same situation
