I had the same problem which the voice robot and agent's saying are not actually match.
I feel their system is kind of delay. But you should be happy because if the agent said so, it must be fine

June 13 2016. Upfront Medical Dec 28 2017/ hubby's upfront Dec 22 2017. We later got med req Feb 06 2018, but we didn't have to do it again.

So u can say we did upfront 18months after application and we later got med req 20 months after application. Ridiculous right ? At least thank God its all over now.
