in my case after my aor no update ,no medical request,
in my ecas just showing two lines we receive your application
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(
after that nothing and from yesterday in my gckey showing as i said before your action is required to submitted .

Oh sorry I thought was November 2016 submitted .

I have like 4 steps to follow and I need to provide my copy of the passport (not the actual passport) and photos...

I didn't receive any DM...

Is it a standard procedure?

No MR but when I applied I sent my wife medical upfront so, my Medical status was" we are reviewing your medical.." now it changes to "do not need..." so not sure what is going on..

Have no idea.. its just something they sent everyone before DM, some people get same time with DM or some people get way before DM. For me its a good sign, I am happy that somebody is working on my file...

My sister has a OWP, living and working in Montreal. She received the passport Request for Permanent Resident, She is pregnant (6 months).
Does she have to inform her pregnancy to CIC?

Obtained my csq so have to complete the form for federal government stage.

Do you guys know what federal government will check again?? For example will they check again your history? I thought this already checked and evaluated by Quebec before they issue Csq am I understand correctly??

My Background check has been in this status since Dec 2017.
"We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."


Is it a good change? I have submitted Federal part in August 2016.

yes, at federal level also they will check whole thing and will take more than 12 months. can you please share your timeline. have you got CSQ by email or by courier.?? r u from india?

Most likely it means that someone is reviewing your application for whatever reason... mine in the Review of additional docs it went from we do not need additional docs to not applicable and my BG is like yours since september 17.. lets hope we will hear good news this month
