Hello bros/sis, njanum ivide oru malayali unde...I'm currently working in US, IT field

My journey is like this:

Apr/May - started thinking about migration to Canada
June - started roaming around the threads - reading stories/experiences - collecting info, especially for my conditions
July - started applying for transcripts, finally made them reach Canada by Sep (UC and CUSAT for me & wife)
Aug - took fingerprints and submitted for FBI police clearance, took IELTS exam
Sep - applied for Indian PCC from USA
Oct - ECA from WES
Nov - received ITA, PCC from Indian consulate, and experience letter from the previous employer
Dec - did medicals upfront, got PCC from FBI after a long wait and submitted the application this week, received eAOR

Now the waiting game starts I guess. It was really a struggle collecting all these and arranging in order.

How are you all doing?;)
Did you apply for the transcripts from US? How did you do it? I am beginner here; could you please let me know how you did it?

I applied two transcripts, one from CUSAT and one from Calicut - both from US. Application forms are available online and once you create account in WES, you can fill those and somebody in India can submit those applications for you.

Why you guys are always asking for other malayali? I mean even in US I have never seen you guys talking with other people. What is the reason? Are you guys resist or you dont like other people? The real question should be "any Indians here?"

1. 'any Indians here' - is a pointless question. At least 50 % of the users on this website are Indians. Give or take. A conservative estimate
2. If you think the question should not have been - 'Any Malayali here'; then there shouldn't be a question posed - 'any Indian here'. That just beats the point. These are all identities formed by us.
3. It is not a case of Malayalis resisting or not liking other people. Of course it is easier to interact with a person from your own state who has gone through the process and guide them on the next steps. Aylla.Ayat, can you help them request transcripts from CUSAT or MG University or Christ? Or even something else that has to be done in Kerala?
4. If you had a problem with the question - 'Any Malayali here' - you had the choice to stay away from this post. Why did you have to open this post go through the whole thread and post a reply at the end?

P.S. - I'm a non-malayali

Was it from KIMS, Tvm? How was it and what were the cost involved. I am planning to do it this month end.

Yep. Book in an appointment. It takes roughly 3 hrs. Blood test, urine test, assessment (eyesight, weight height etc), physical examination by a doc and after all this you get a receipt which u need to upload as a proof.
