Congrats. May I know when you moved to IP2?

I moved to IP2 on 27th Feb and yet to receive my PPR. I am also in the same situation. I am in Canada and my wife n kid are in Chennai. I have one of my friend in the same situation who got a PR in 2016. I inquired him & send me your local contact number in my private message. I will call you and explain.

yesterday cic changed to BG statues to IP2 and Today i got the PPR.
mostly in 2 days i got the PPR once CIC updated the status.
iam from Hyderabad - india so i need some info for spouse and kids stamping

i got email to my personal email account to submit passport with Annex A to CPC ottawa address
I am planning to send my passport asap.

As per what I read it's a glitch if you only see the change of status on IRCC site. Since you got the email I believe you're good to go

Guys read the post again. It says if you applied for temporary its a technical issue but if you applied for permanent is accurate. Alwasy read it twice. We applied for permanent not temporary.
So everybody calm down we are in the safe side.

Background check: We are processing your background check.
Final decision Your application is in progress

I got email on Feb 27 around 9 PM to submit the passport for stamping
