Hi everyone,

I am new this forum and I need help!!!

I have applied to citizenship from Calgary
send the application on 13th of October 2017
received and signed on 16th of October 2017

and since then I haven't received email or any kind confirmation.

I called the immigration many time last January and they told me there is a high volume of app.
on the Feb 12 I called again and the agent took all my info and told me that he will email the Office in Sydney. then I call back last week and they said the Sydney Office responded to their email and confirm that they have received the app on October 16 and due to the high volume of app they will contact me when the open my app!!!!

please help!

from what I can see here most all the October's app already processed or at least contact them.

any Idea?

Please update my application status into the Google Sheets. Thanks!

Hi Win26,
Congratulations on becoming a Canadian. Before you depart this site, could you let me know how the test was. In your opinion, did you find it easy? I've got mine on March 1st in Regina and I am freaking out. I have read discovery Canada twice and completed all the online test available on the World Wide Web, LOL.

Same here.. everything pretty much straightforward. (Been in Canada phisically for 11years..4as PR). I wasn’t asked any question whatsoever other the ID Check.
Took literally 7minutes.
I was however told that “I should expect the 1year average» :-(
Not too sure why that textbook answer but.. oh well.. they know better I guess.
I just wish they considered that many of us here were very few months shy to apply under old rule.
Good luck guys.

exactly! we were 6 weeks short; but maybe that's why both you and my hubbie didn't get detailed questions about each day - the residency req was clear; keeping fingers crossed!! :)

Is not that easy is not that hard. I got all the contents in the book though. History, government, and all about aboriginals. No dates but i dunno about the others cause every person has different type of questions. I got mine 18/20. My buddy got questions all about history only. So in short just read the book. I did read the book 3 times just to let u know lol Gudluck
