Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Thanks for replying but I am disagreeing with your both points. Firstly, I did not ask to anyone here to analyse that I am qualifying for urgent processing or not ? because I know already that I am qualifying for urgent processing. I just requested to write down the draft for me on based on two points which I mentioned in my above comments.

1- No one know your situation. " Situation has already been mentioned in my above post , Mom is Sick and Have job offer ". What other situation you are talking about ? I am asking for a draft based on the said two points.

2- I am Disagreeing with your argument regarding job that every one has job here in Canada and in US. Its not necessary that every one has job in US or here in Canada. Lot of professionals are jobless here including me or they are doing odd(other than their profession) jobs. Secondly, the link you shared, I guess you did not read properly. Please read it again and specially read the first point where it says " Apply for a job" . I am copying the actual wording below from The website . It clearly says that you are eligible if you are applying for a job and for that you need Canadian Citizenship.

To apply for urgent processing, you must be eligible to apply for citizenship and have an emergency, such as:

  • needing Canadian citizenship to:
    • apply for a job
    • avoid losing your job
    • go to a Canadian school, college or university
  • needing to travel because of death or serious illness in your family and you can’t get a passport in your current nationality
  • receiving a successful Federal Court decision on an appeal on a previous application for citizenship
I guess we should not create the false or unacquainted comments here to avoid confusion.
First of all, you should use only one reason which is stronger for urgent processing. Your mom is sick and you want to visit her. This is a valid and strong reason. Don't you have any other travel document to travel? This is what you need to prove and how can someone else write without knowing the details.

The second reason is really not a reason; one must apply Citizenship to live and work in Canada permannetly but not to move to US. Urgent processing is out of question; I don't know how officer will trwat your citizenship application when he/she will comw to know that you want to move to US right after getting Canadian citizenship.

IP, Waiting for Exam Invitation letter.

One question:
When I receive the email for exam invitation, will online status be updated as kind of "Exam Invitation" also?

Thank you.
Online status will remain "In Process", but when you click on it, you will see a new line added to your status saying you were invited to a test and when it is.

I passed my citizenship test on February 15 in Edmonton and interviewer said i will be getting oath letter in 3 months and she is waiting on my background checks. My fingerprint results have already been received as confirmed by agent.
What was she suggesting by background checks?

Thanks for your comment. I don't care if you disagree with my points, I can comment whatever I think right and you don't have to agree with me. Of course I can analyse the way I want. Public forum is completely unreliable place to expect reliable answers. You can not expect reliable answer from forum, you get only opinion and should appreciate the opinion.
Buddy, You should care about others too when you are giving your opinion. Might be some one follow your opinion and ultimately ends up with mess. I think, When you do not have enough knowledge or expertise, do not share your personal thoughts here to misguide the people. We should not throw whatever is coming in our mind.

You will not get a draft from anyone here because you are arrogant and condescending. Better still, write the draft yourself!
I am not arrogant but straight forward and want the innocents do not be trapped with misguided information. And yes keep your draft with you and do not give me lecture here. Secondly do not be judgmental here Mr. and read your comments and then analyse who is condescending ?

Like it or not, these reasons probably do not qualify for urgent processing. So it would be very difficult for anyone to offer a draft that is likely to help.

A job opportunity in the U.S. FOR SURE WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR URGENT PROCESSING. (Doubt this if you like, but this is about as close to certain as it gets.)

The need to travel for a family illness may, in certain exceptional circumstances, qualify for urgent processing. However, ordinarily Canada does not impose any restriction on a PR's capacity to travel internationally, so as far as the Canadian government is concerned (again, with some exceptions in extraordinary situations), a PR can travel abroad without Canadian citizenship. No urgent processing of citizenship application necessary.

It appears you misunderstand or misinterpret the online information IRCC provides about when urgent processing MAY be available.

That said, usually there is NO HARM in asking for urgent processing. Usually.

But proffering a U.S. job opportunity as a reason, that seems like a bad idea. Just because there is no longer an "intent to reside in Canada" requirement does not mean IRCC personnel will not perceive this as a reason to scrutinize the applicant far more thoroughly. Risk indicators tied to the perception an applicant-is-applying-on-the-way-to-the-airport have a long history in citizenship application processing going back long before the Harper-era intent-to-reside requirement. Why should be obvious. (Motive is often a reason for suspicion.)

Thanks for reply and your detailed answer. How you interpret below regarding job which is on their website ? Specially " Apply for a job" ?

Thanks Hassan for your thoughts. I am agree with you that I should stick with one point that is Sickness of my mother. Regarding draft, I have already written it and just wanted second opinion but I noticed lot of so-called scholars are sitting here and just making the things out and start arguing rather than a guidance or a simple reply.
Cheers

As I noted, you may doubt that a job opportunity in the U.S. is not a reason for urgent processing, but again that it is NOT a reason is about as close to certain as it gets.

My sense is you fail to recognize what is meant by "need Canadian citizenship" for the employment, perhaps looking at this from your personal perspective (as in what YOU need) rather than when Canadian citizenship is a legitimate qualification for the job.

If an individual can qualify for the job without Canadian citizenship that means Canadian citizenship is not a requirement for the job. So, for example, if a person can qualify for the job if they have U.S. citizenship, that means Canadian citizenship is NOT needed.

It would be a rather unusual circumstance for a U.S. job to not be available to a U.S. citizen who otherwise qualifies for the job.

The fact that you personally could qualify for the job if you have Canadian citizenship, and you cannot otherwise because you do not have other status which would make you qualified, does not make Canadian citizenship a legitimate qualification for the job.

The other aspect of this many seem to not grasp is that a job requirement based on having a Canadian passport, usually related to the job's expected travel requirements, is similarly NOT a job for which Canadian citizenship is needed. Sure, Canadian citizenship will allow the individual to obtain a Canadian passport, and that may meet an employer's requirements, BUT that is NOT ORDINARILY considered a reason for urgent processing.

Moreover, there generally needs to be a legitimate, genuine connection between citizenship and qualifications for the job . . . and this is typically about certain Canadian government jobs or jobs with Canadian government contractors, and mostly (albeit not entirely) due to security related aspects of the employment.

As I have oft said, USUALLY there is no downside to asking for urgent processing. And IRCC can be a lot more accommodating, SOMETIMES (not always, maybe not often, but sometimes), than many anticipate. IRCC has the discretion to expedite any applicant's case. So sure, one can ask, and sure there is a chance to get urgent processing.

BUT proffering a job opportunity in the U.S. probably NOT a good idea:

Proffering a job opportunity in the U.S., however, might be considered a risk indicator triggering elevated scrutiny, resulting in long delays in processing rather than routine let alone expedited processing. Historically it has appeared much of the fraud in citizenship applications is related to obtaining Canadian citizenship as a stepping-stone to work in the U.S. Thus, for a long time, appearing to apply-on-the-way-to-the-airport has been a factor increasing the risk of elevated scrutiny, including RQ (the Liberal government, before the Harper government, for sure introduced a risk indicator related to this at least as far back as 2005 in an OB which was added as an appendix to the Operational Manual governing residency until replaced by PDIs under the Harper government).

Until the current Liberal government repealed it, the Harper government had focused so intently on this that it effectively made applying-on-the-way-to-the-airport a ground for rejecting an application, by imposing an intent-to-reside requirement. The repeal of the intent-to-reside requirement does not mean appearing to apply-on-the-way-to-the-airport no longer increases the risk of elevated scrutiny. The historical association of such applicants with instances of fraud remains what it is, meaning a reason to at least check out such applicants more thoroughly to make sure they are not involved in a fraud. That can mean non-routine processing, meaning delays, sometimes long delays. Not the sort of risk someone who wants urgent processing would be prudent to take.
