Wow, that is quick ... hopefully your husband receives his PPR soon and arrives here while the weather is still beautiful, wouldn't want his first impression of Canada to be in the dead of winter lol.

Although this was in 2014, but both my husband and I got an email saying that they were ready to issue the visa and they gave him an appointment to come into the embassy. The email was received on February 21st and his appointment was for March 5th. I'm sure it's not the same for everyone though, some people's files just seem to move along more quickly.

Yes, fast it appears in Ottawa. Now it will be Rabat making the contact. Back in January 2015, file was transfered in 5 days. Was hoping same or less & keep watching emails for ppr. They really don't need to drag it out. Me too, I want him here in August. Inchallah.

I am man from Morocco, i met my wife in website of dating after 8 months we fall in love each other, in that time i was working in Saudi Arabia ( i passed 3 years there with resident worker) in january 12, 2016 we decided to meet in Morocco for the first time and get married.
we are both muslim, she is arabic but in another country in Golf, she is older than me 1 year and 5 month,
On January 22, 2016 we got married and on january 30, 2016 we made a traditional ceremony weeding.
we returned to our work me in Saudi Arabia and my wife to Canada on february 2,2016
i quit Saudi Arabia on 20/6/2016, my wife came to visit me with her 2 child one in 13 and the other in 9 years old, from 22/06/2016 until 25/08/2016 and we passed very good time together.
this is my time line :
application for permanent residence received on November 10, 2016.
They started processing my application on December 22, 2016
The visa office had requested for additional documents on January 13, 2017, which they confirmed to have received and forwarded to officer for review on january 30, 2017.
My wife contacted the MP office for information about our application and they said to our application not look good for them and they said that our relationship is not genuine, and they tried to give me a date for interview, so my interview gonna be in this last month October 2017, and for my wife she must be available by telephone for 3 hours following the start of the interview.
i know there is expert in this forum, i need help and i need advice to prepare my interview, like questions and everything that may help us

We sent our application on May 2017 and was received in Rabat on July 27.. Since then we never got any update from the immigration office in Rabat. Have anyone been called for an interview recently and how long did it take to process your file?
I think the immigration office may contact me for another medical exams as the last one expire this month already, if they do that may make a delay to process my application? Have anyone had to redo the medical exam and how long did it take to receive it?

It is posted on their website that the processing time for most applications will take about 12 months, I think it is about time to contact them if you do not hear from them sooner

Our file in Rabat since June 23, and has been in process without any progress since then. CGkey update is always the same: we are processing your file, the eligibility of the applicant is being checked since then. All our efforts requesting information from them via emails or web form are in vain. Response in CIC canada is the same, they do not have access to the file and it is within processing time of 12 months. We have also requested officer's notes on October 3 and it suppose to take only 30 days...it is almost 90 days now. It has been a very frustrating experience. Medical also expired in November, the status on medical is saying...you do not need medical exam, if this changes we will contact you.

We are really going through the same frustrating experience, and the waiting part is so hard. I hope you guys hear some good news very soon. I think after you hear from them, it will not take long and will contact us too as our file was received in Rabat just a month after they received yours. Wow - why is it taking so long. They were supposed to have decreased the waiting times and Rabat was only supposed to take around 9 months before the changes. They received our application on Aug 30, 2017 and file was transferred to Rabat last month on Jan. 23rd. Looks like we are going to have a long wait!

He passed it and as his medical was expired in November, they asked him to repeat it, it now passed and we are still waiting. I am so rediculously tired of that office and the whole process.
