I don't think you need to submit itr just gic fees receipt is fine. Do check the checklist though juajust to be sure.

I would rate 70-80% chances of visa if no itr or bank balance shown

it is recommended to go with ielts.PTE has less success rate.I would recommend u to go with ielts it ll be a good idea.High commission doesn't accept PTE as that of canada.
Good Luck
Be Positive
Since u have done everything u can try applying with this current scenario. If by chance a negative outcome comes. Then ielts will be must

Hmm. I read PTE is accepted for study permit. I didn’t know VO preferred one over the other.

What I want to know precisely, is what reasons can you you guys at this forums list out that can lead to a refusal. I want to identify them and address those issues to maximise my approval chances.

You have a very good chance of getting a study permit. Since your mother is a window (I am sorry for that.), you can explain how you are the only one who will support your mother. This will make the visa officer think that your mother is dependent on you and you will come back to your home country. Good luck!

Thanks bud.
What about PTE though? Will VO accept PTE as proof of language proficiency? My score is 84/90 which is like 8 bands on IELTS if I’m not wrong.

I’m grateful for your help. I am very confused because my agent said PTE is accepted.
I have applied for May Intake. So I have no time for ielts now.
What if my application gets rejected because of pte? Can I give ielts and reapply? Or will that worsen my chances?
