Hi congrats to everyone with approvals, those with confirmed interview dates and welcome to the newbies. Just an update hubby & stepson rec'vd PR cards today. They landed Dec 15, 2017. Just to give you an idea of the wait time. Another thing, if you are in the process of obtaining an ontario drivers license & require a letter to prove your driving record in jamaica you can get that letter from the jamaican embassy for $30 cash. It's the greatest feeling having hubby & stepson here...it was all worth it. All the best to everyone.

Yes KTluv. It would have been shorter if it wasn't for a few obstacles...they ask him to get a new birth certificate & to dhl his passport which lengthened the time. Where are you in the process?

That’s is amazing! Fast reunification gives me some hope. I have only sent in my application waiting to hear back. My husband says Cic will soon block my number.

I call every week to see what applications they are opening.

Today: December 22 lol I’m praying to hear something by the next two weeks.

I’m going to get him to work on his ppc and schedule A so as soon as they ask we can send it I’m granted everything is A okay

Yes yes they would they are paid to be a pest and annoy everyone going through this process.. hahah im just joking but technically they can still continue to process application even if sponsor is denied once you've checked off the box to continue application, which i think is a trick question like why would they ask ppl to check that off knowing full well if sponsor is denied then the whole application for applicant will be denied as well since they have no sponsor.

Anyways, if they are looking at Schedule A thats a good sign did you check ECAS to see if your SA is Approved and they started PA and sent to KVO?

I’ve resubmitted the schedule a this morning. There isn’t anything is ECAS at all, well the same stuff for the last 3 weeks. I’m hoping it gets to Kingston before they take the summer off.

Well not technically off, but they didn't do spousal interviews last summer that I read. I'm really hoping and praying that mine is done by June.

this thread was created last year so no ones application was far along enough to have interview in summer most of us just have applications forwarded to KVO during May-July. Im impressed tho KVO has been moving a lot faster than prior years.

Hi! It did not say we needed additional documents in order to continue processing the application. Under supporting documents it does list the items we were told to bring to the interview though. The only thing that change was you need to attend an interview.
