I am really thinking that they are intentionally reduce half a band to re-sit for IELTS. Lets hope for the best in this exam & most importantly, they are going to release the results on time instead of the sh** email of quality investigation.

Happened to me as well. L:8.5, S:8, W:7.5 and R:6.5. When I gave academic test, I easily scored more. They are aware that people need 8,7,7,7 at least. Good way to make money

Lol yes ! I hope no more quality checks this time... and have u noticed this time people got different tests... Really dont know whether they reduce score intentionally to make money but really hoping for clb 9 though my listening was a total mess...this ielts has cost me tooooo much... lets hope for the best... keep me updated!

I guess u r right! But some people get clb 9 in first attempt... i dont know results are so unpredictable... my last test on 6 jan I had some different answers from what we discussed on this forum... and i still scored 9 in listening...I am not sure even about their marking criteria coz many people said they wrote the same answers as discussed in the forum but they got 6.5... lets see whats going to happen this time... coz last time our results were on hold and when they were release almost all had the same pattern of results most of the candidates got 6.5 atleast in one module...

Yes, different exam batch & imagine my feeling when I messed up the listening exam and I am sure I will not get 8 band!!! then I did the writing and reading just because I paid the fees.

OMG I had the same feelings... u just expressed my words... i was so dishearted but continued the test till the end...... but dont worry u will get the desired score this time IN SHA ALLAH!

Well, I noticed that lot of candidates that reappeared for exam on 10 Feb, got 7.5 bands. However most of them missed by a half band. The point to note is that Academic IELTS is generally considered more challenging. And I did better in Academic than General. In addition, when many people miss the CLB 9 by a whisker, then something is odd......Its difficult to rule out foul play....

I have sent IDP email for grace marks as our centre was totally mess for Feb 10 exam. Their headphones stopped working and it lasted for 15 min. During this time all candidate had access of full paper. After 15 mins, they took listening paper and started reading first which is totally unacceptable. We lost all our focus and concentration during this as we prepared hard as per the sequence only. Please write email to
ielts.india@idp.com if you guys faced same problem. Let them award some grace marks for this mismanagement.

I also appeared on 6 th jan ... I think many people who gave 6th jan attempt reappeared on 10th feb... on 6 th jan my result were withheld for quite a longtime I got my results at the end of jan... listening on 6th jan was quite easy... but this time it was not easy at all... i just couldnt catch up with the speaker especially those mcqs and tables...... anyways nothing can b done now... just hoping for good results IN SHA ALLAH! Planning to reappear on 3rd march!

Lol speaking for me last time was good as my examiner was continuously yawning , i think she was too sleepy... and she asked way too much questions, i mean she wont even wait for my answers and then she will keep on questioning.... i got 7 in speaking

I thought i was the only one who found listening lil tough compared to previous one but many found it to be tricky...hmm kinda fast i would say...less time to go thru questions in sec 2 n 3 before speakers started....
