So any news after that call.. She also told me that all my documents are complete and there is no need for any other additional documents I can see that the next test date in Calgary is March 06 hope i can make that one

Request for fingerprints Jan 17th (doh!). Completed today.

Apparently I was sent correspondence acknowledging receipt of my application, and a study book called Discover Canada. Except I never received any of this. Should I be bothered that this piece of mail apparently got lost? I just downloaded the PDF of the book to study.

After getting update in the e-cas for the FP, how long did it take for you to get the actual mail in the post?
I got the update on Feb 6 and I was wondering how many days should I wait.

Some people got it the next day but some received it in a week or a bit more. It depends on the duration between sending out the letter and updating the Ecas. In general it takes 3-5 business days.

Yes, today 3 people from Nov reported the test invitation, but non of them from Calgary.

We are all in the same boat. No body understands this significant droop!! Some Nov applicants have gotten test invitations from other offices while Calgary office is still working on Oct apps.

Called CIC today. They said local office sent me an e-mail (most probably FP request) which I never received.
They said to call them back next week as they need atleast 5 working days to report that I missed the letter.
Lets see if I get one on hold next week!

Are sure he/she said email not mail! Cz most of FP requests that have been reported here in the forum come through the mail within 5 business days after updating the e-cas. Haven't seen any case got emailed the FP. Good luck

100% accurate. Except it's not most of FP requests, it's ALL of FP requests.

For me, it takes about 8 weeks. I think it depends on volume of the applicants who passed the test these days.

Yeah, I asked her multiple times. She was saying my file says theye-mailed me.
I was also suprised about this.

How we can know it's a FP not QR if we got this update online and no letter yet?????
Also how long that delay in the processing time!
Is it possible to get both FP and QR! at the same time or later???? ( I mean after you got FP is possible to get QR after! )

RQ can come anytime if they suspect anything even after the test.
But what I am saying its not delaying the process that much.
