I have got ITA and my deadline to submit is 14th Feb. I stayed in USA for 2 years and returned back to my country in 2005. Do I still need to apply for PCC from USA as the eAPR does not track addresses earlier than 10 years.
If I were you, I would submit one. You don't want your application to be delayed just because of a document (which is now a lot quicker to obtain). I would apply for a police certificate in the next couple of days and send all proof of it in your letter of explanation along with the eARR. If you hurry up, there is a slight chance that you'll get one by the 14th. If not, you will have one ready in case they ask for it later. In any case, it is always good to have an FBI police certificate for your own record.

wonder what MEP, ADR1, IP1 mean in your signature?
MEP = Medicals Passed
ADR1 = Additional Documents Requested (Request #1)
IP1 = In Progress (1) - this is when the "Background check" status line reads "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."

For future reference:
NA2 = Comes after IP1, typically. this is when the "Background check" status line reads "Not Applicable" after IP1
IP2 = In Progress (2) - this is when the "Background check" status line reads "We are processing your background check..." - usually when one is about to get PPR (PassPort Request).

Hope that helps.

This is very helpful, thanks. So, based on that, I have MEP and I am at ADR1 (for FBI PCC) and IP2. What would be next after the ADR1 is completed? They request the submit the passport?

Yes, once ADR is responded to, and if eligibility/criminality-check is okay, you should get PPR as you are in IP2 already. Are you CEC/Inland by any chance? If so, you would be IP1 even though it says "We are processing your background check". FSWO and CEC differ in that aspect, among others.

No, I am in the FSWP. What is the timeline roughly for next steps?

Oh wow. IP2 without the PCC, thats awesome. Then PPR would be the next step for your once you transmit the PCC.
Umm or maybe not, I'm currently inland with FSWP if that's what you were referring to? I thought you meant CEC plus inland!

Ah. My apologies. You're right, PPR may/may not be your next step. But then again, all these patterns are purely observations of folks like you and I... so, you never know :)

That is true. Good luck for the rest of your process, looks like you are back in again. Thanks for sharing all the helpful info!

I applied for PCC through FBI EDO. My documents were delivered yesterday, however there is no change in my online status. It still shows "Insufficient. Send you fingerprints".

Does anyone know how much time it takes for status to change?

Observed statuses: Insufficient > Delivered/Received > Processed

Current trend shows earliest is 24h, latest is 48h for an update to the status after your fingerprints reach the FBI (i.e. show as delivered in shipment tracking). And the gap between "Received" > "Processed" is observed to be anywhere between 2-3 minutes to 15-20 minutes.
