Hello, I have a quick question concerning the mechanics of the sponsorship process for people living in Quebec. I don't know if this thread is the appropriate one, so I'm copying my question for the other thread.
Maybe someone could give me a hand:

if I understood correctly, to sponsor your parents the order is:

you put your name in the ballout and pray to be selected by the IRCC, in case you are selected you get an e-mail inviting you to apply for the sponsorship program, and here is my question:

What is the next step for someone resident of Quebec?

After getting the green light from IRCC, should I send my undertaking documents to Quebec and after that I get the CSC I will send my package to the IRCC ? Or Should I apply to the IRCC, wait for their approval (which may take a couple of years ) and later request a CSC from Quebec ? I'm kinda confused on the appropriate order and I would much appreciate if someone have had this experience!

Another QC sponsor might be able to answer better. What I noticed is that you send the app to IRCC first and then asked to send QC specific documents at a later stage.

I called the IRCC today and the instruction that I received is that as soon as you receive the green light to apply to the sponsorship visa you should apply to the federal following the normal procedure... during the process you will be contacted by the IRCC so you can proceed with the undertaking process with the Quebec immigration ministere and later you add the CSC to your federal process

You are absolutely right.
First one files with the IRCC and once he gets the SA from them he applies for the CSQ. To apply for the CSQ you need the SA letter.

Good News:

My parents: Request for submission of passports in 8 months.

I received an email they have to go to Ankara or Istanbul within 30 days in person or through an authorized representative.

Just a quick question, did you submit the additional documents such as Police certificate (translation),travel history and proof of medical by email?
to the same email address by which they asked you for them? and did you receive any confirmation of their receipt? thanks!

They said they don’t need interview and biometrics.

What about the background check? Did the application status ever show that the background check was done?

Hello all, I have received an email from CIC asking for my co-signer's NOA for 2014, 2015, 2016. Can anybody advice me whether i should do both (fax and mail ) the NOA. Is there any option to upload the NOA in my CIC account? Which option is faster and better? Will appreciate your assistance. thanks

Fax used to be the fastest. Email was the worse in summer 2017

They didn't mention any email address for me. They said i can mail them out the papers or fax them. do they have any email as well?

I faxed and my app was updated fairly quickly.

They told me to submit Option c form . I got email on 30th nov that I should send them option c by Jan 30th. They received my documents by 18th Jan but I have not heard anything from them.

Let me know plz if you receive any update, I was selected in first round, application received 26th July. They started processing my app on 30th nov but asked for option C n scheduled A form for my mom.they received on 18th Jan but I have not heard anything since then.
