Hi M May 2nd 2017 applicant my account is there on the Spreadsheet by the name of "hopefulmay" (i forgot the password for that account). Finally after a long silence i got addition document request including Rukhsati and Walima pics plus proof of visit if any and proof of communication.

Please advise if i should upload the docs on the Web portal or need to send the hard copy as well?

hi you mention that rukhsati was not performed, but you also mentioned it is not nikkah only case. both these answers contradict
so did you guys do a rukhsati yet? or did you guys only sign nikkah and wife did not go home with husband?

I’m Pathan, and for me rukhsati means honeymoon. I’m guessing for the majority who follow this thread it means wedding ceremony. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
No matter what meaning you assign, we did neither. We originally performed nikkah when we first met in Italy a couple of years ago, and it was a religious ceremony only, not legal. Then last September we legally married in Pakistan, but we did not have any sort of wedding ceremony or party. It just wasn’t important to us and would have been a huge culture shock for my wife.
So that’s why I answered with “N” for nikkah only. It’s legal, we have both certificates from the court in Mardan and Nadra. I was thinking that Nikkah only meant the religious ceremony only, not a registered marriage. It’s common in my village to not register your marriage with the court until the birth of a child.
Sorry to be so long-winded! Basically, if our case is considered “Nikkah only” by your (or whoever the author is) understanding, by all means record it on the spreadsheet as such.
Also, you can mention on the spreadsheet that we have a 10-month old baby.

Hey, please update spreadsheet- we recvd pre arrival services email today, Alhamdullilah, do you think the PR email is coming soon?

Looks like LVO now working on June July and Aug 2017 Applicants but not on each and every file but somehow picking files randomly OR easy cases.
I am July 18th Applicant and so far no movement

if there is an option of loading load it ASAP. They will get your docs same day if you load it.

yes you should . Write your and your wife name, event name where pics are taken..your file # as well
if more people in pics, write their names with your and your wife relations

Hi I have submitted additional documents in december upon asked by lvo. When can I expect reply? What will happen next? It’s February now but thr is no update I m april applicant.

We got our background check in process notification as well today (June 30 applicant) - however, no pre arrival note or ppr or DM yet. But a good sign indeed. Is it normal to have eligibility in process and BGC in process both in the same time?

you can send an email and inquire the status of your file but as its been 2 months already, it should be any time now. Your wait is over Insha Allah
