Guys,

I've been a silent reader of this forum (specially RoH) for over a year. I took the IELTS 5 times in one year, I spent almost 200 hours studying English to reach a CLB 9 and today I receive my ITA (my score were 407 and I got 464 with CLB 9).

I'm writing to thank you for all the information, all the speculation and all the hope you have been giving me during this year. Only we know how difficult and heart-breaking this proccess is and to have a place to read kind words of people in the same page as me was fundamental to persist.

Do not give up, keep studying and if you don't reach CLB 9 for 0,5 band ask for a remark, it really works.

I hope that this year will bring good news to all of us.

Tie breaker applies if both are at same crs, in ur scenario u will get ITA as it's greater than 442

Starting a tracker......Worked on this last night.......Pure Entertainment Purpose... adjusted for 3000 ITA @ 2 weeks....Still looks bleak for people below CRS 440....

Can you explain this? Can't relate crs and numbers here

Back to 84...Yay...so many positive things to look forward to after todays draw...more ITA...drop in CRS...less that 100 people entering pool in the 411-440 region. Things looking bright.

The thought that should worry us is an analysis posted in ROH 83. There are 186 candidates entering the pool per day in scores between 441 to 450. This is a drastic increase in the number we're used to seeing in this region, which is about 160-170.
Secondly, looking at the Feb 1st distribution, it appears that a lot of guys just jumped on the draw at the last minute probably those who gave their IELTS on 6th and 19th Jan getting their results finally. Otherwise we would have seen the CRS drop even lower than 442 for 3000 ITAs.

That means about 100 new profiles in CRS range 411-440 are created in two weeks period. That is pretty low!

That's because people are joining at higher bands!

How the tie breaker could be 442 may 2017.. CRS touched 436 in Nov 2017.. any idea?

I'm even more curious about how are they gonna make 3000 candidates out of it, based on the statistics they have shared as of 1st Feb.

As I explained, lot of people jumped their score at the last minute between 1st and 7th thanks to IELTS results for those who wrote on 6th and 19th Feb.

You should. I created my profile the day before the last day and got my ITA the next day.

You answer some additional questions that were not asked in the EE profile, provide your travel history and all you've done in the past 10 years like work, school, membership in organization etc. Once all the relevant fields are completed, you get a personalized checklist to submit the required documents.
