Hi there, would you be able to tell how much the DNA fees were?

All the labs I contacted were $5
500-600 the one I used is usually $600 they said they had a promotion for $500 I went with them because they were the most efficient in my urgency to have the request sent the same day

Ok thanks. We are not with Kingston visa office, my husband is in haiti. There isn't much posts on the haiti visa office thread, that's why I posted here to ask. He was called for an interview last week, with just 3 days notice! I flew down and brought what they were asking for. They interviewed him and then talked to me. She said she is approving the application but wants a DNA done for his daughter because her birth certificate was made so late. They sent us an email the next day with the labs in Canada. I will call maxxaam (I think thats what it is called) tomorrow morning. Also, the day after interview, background check started and pre-arrival email received.

That price was in Canadian dollars?

Yes Canadian dollars. I went with maxxam Namy is very nice and efficient and the results came back within 4days of the them receiving samples.

Pray for us please! We dont have his 2 daughters passports yet! It is so slow in Haiti, even though they were processed as urgent and should have been ready last week!

Yeah I was surprised too. They ask for passport size pictures which we had originally sent with the application so it make me nervous bc I was hoping he get the visa on the spot and back for work two days later. It’s March break time and I just check the prices of tickets and they are high

Don't be too concern about the additional photos they ask for. They asked me for passport size photos too and I had initially submitted those with the application as well but apparently they needed it to staple to my form. I also got my Visa on spot. So don't worry too much about that request .
