Dear All,
As per CIC calculator I have enough points without my education assessment and IELTS exams as I am putting my wife as main applicant and she has degree assessed and score of 8.5 in IELTS. I want to know if its alright not to mention my education and fill application without ielts exam as well.

I have masters degree but not assessed , I want to save time and money (which i will have to spent for ielts exam and degree assessment). Please advise if its alright not to mention my credentials in application. or it can cause some problem going forward?

If your CRS score is good (say 455+), you probably won’t need any extra points these days. If it’s a bit on the average side (440ish), go for any advantages you can have. Remember each round takes two weeks to appear, but ECA and such may take much longer.

It would be advisable to put in your educational qualification in the profile your wife is creating. There is a question if your education is assessed. Just answer no there. You will not gain any points but you will be answering truthfully. Same for language, answer you can communicate in English and no for examination. You will not add points neither have to spend money but conveyed the truth. One more thing you might consider which you will not see till you are at the stage of paying the fees and applying for PR. There is a disclaimer which clearly states the answers you provide now about you and family will be recorded for future applications you are going to make. Which means if you try to apply for something in Canada based on your education these details will contradict. Have all the details truly stated. You will not be asked to spend money for assessment or IELTS.
