PEI PNP EOI Notification

Posting an update about the change in the process on how PEI is accepting the EOI's. WEF 25th January 2018, PEI is NO MORE accepting EOI's via emails like they used to before. You will have to create a profile on PEI's website and fill in all the information that is mandatory.

PS: It was not mandatory for me to create a profile for PEI since I received a nomination prior to these changes which came into effect

Do you have a valid job offer from PEI Employer? Thats what the eligibility requirements say now...

Thanks for the info. So I read in their website that there’s PEI express entry where you have to create an profile like EOI. It’s with or without job offer but they prioritize those living and working in PEI. In their guide “Interested individuals must create a profile online and will be ranked based on human capital and adaptability factors. Only the highest-ranked individuals will be invited to submit an application.”

Does this mean they will have a draw and just get highest ranked in the pool?

No, I don't have a job from PEI employer and I don't think its mandatory unless if your NOC is NOT in demand. If they are looking to take candidates with specific NOC, then they will contact the applicant.

Hello Wendy, as already stated above, PEI DOES NOT publish in demand NOC like other provinces do. They will ONLY contact applicants if they're NOC is in demand. Nobody knows which NOC will be in demand.

They don't have a draw. Its just that they are referring to applicants with in demand NOC will be contacted. As already mentioned above, nobody knows what's their requirements with respect to NOC's that are in demand. One would have to conclude that if he or she is contacted, then that NOC is or was in demand because that can change so quickly since I got nominated with 2171 and after a few days when my friend sent his EOI, he got an email saying that they weren't interested with 2171. I guess its a bit of luck as well since we have no clue whatsoever.

If you are using a representative, then you have to enter the name . But what I noticed was ,they have a list of defined immigration consultants displayed as a drop down list and we have to chose from it .

We can't type the name of our consultant ,if it's not present in that list ..

what to do in this case ?. any idea . ?..

Hello, don't say 'yes' to representative option unless you have contacted an IRCC authorized lawyer or an agent. Even if you have hired a private visa consultant, it should be set to 'No'

Hi all, congratulations to all who received and will receive ITA... I just submitted my EOI to PEI yesterday, got 77 out of 100. I have no relatives or Job Offer from PEI. Would you know if they are also giving chances to Administrative jobs? My NOC 1241. Thank you
