They usually update some thing on Monday. Here's hoping everyone gets some update next week or in the next few days.   Stay calm and positive.

the first one is your application is in progress- that means your criminality checks probably havent been started or some sort of check hasn't been done prior to sending it off to your VO --> this status usually changes to Not Applicable before going to NDVO (this usually indicates that the criminality and completeness part of your application has been completed) ; "we are processing your BGC" is the last update in BGC before it is complete, and this indicates that your application is very close to final decision (especially with NDVO)
You can look at it like being sequential.

in my wife's gckey it was "your application is in progress" then it never changed to not applicable instead it changed to "we are processing your bgc we will send you message if we need more info" and this change was when her file was at cpc mississauga i mean before sending it to ndvo and its still the same since september aor2 is oct 3

it will happen- they just have to change your BGC to NA or we are processing your BGC or some other decisions that they will contact you for. It will happen in the next month hopefully! good luck to us all!

. The security are currently valid
What does it mean when they say currently valid????

• The application was received at the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia office on April 13, 2017.
• The initial assessment to ensure your constituent’s application is complete, has been finalized on January 26, 2018.
• The medical examination results for XXX are on file and valid until January 28, 2019.
• The medical examination results for XXX are on file and valid until November 21, 2018.
• The criminality verifications are currently valid.
• The security verifications are currently valid.
• The file is pending a final review and decision.

Plesae let me know how long it took for you to get the COPR from this point?

I am in the same state now as yours. Tried contactting CIC via MP line and got the info

Application Date Received 17th of August 2017
Medical Passed on 15th October
Police Clearance 20th of October
File sent to NDVO on 7th of November

Still waiting for AOR2 ... I have sent couple of email to Delhi consulate with no replies back.
Its almost been 3 months. Is it normal to be waiting this long for confirmation??
