Our BGC started on 15 Nov in GCKey. This is the first update on ECAS, which has been very quiet, since Medicals Passed/ Application received on 13 Nov. You are right about the consistency. Looking at previous experiences of CPC-M hopefully this recent ECAS movement is the beginning of the end!

Wow they started your BGC super early! Ours was transferred on the 7th November and nothing until the end of December!

We have got so used to disappointment during this process. I’m not going to know how to live a normal life when it is done lol

Mobile costs are insane! I was truly shocked to have bad it is, UK has it cheap! The price of beer is also rediculous haha getting my priorities right lol

Me too! At this point, I'm worried after all of this waiting, we won't get our PR and instead get an interview or something that will again delay everything by MONTHS.....this whole experience has definitely taken some time off of my life....all the stress, waiting, not working, not contributing to my family hence, adding extra to my husband. The lines are so blurred on what things and when they will happen. Anyone know how long after DM and getting your PR you have to "land" in Canada? We are wondering if we have to make a snap trip arrangement within a certain amount of days after getting DM....we would have to save some money for that and my husband would need to take time off from work, which is now less due to our visit in the States to see my sick mum at Christmas time....:/

Just have to remember that some people who read this stuff about getting BGC started and PPR the next day get their hopes up, just trying to throw it out there it's not always true.
It's tough for all of us, I'm happy for everyone who has got their acceptance and I really can't wait to be one of them

So true! EVERYTIME I hear about ANY movement in our "YEAR" I get a pang and start looking, then go a few days thinking I'll take a break and breathe a bit....this whole thing is absolutely maddening!

Someone told me yesterday that our app is taking a long time because we applied Outland from in Canada. This person told me that the fact that we applied Outland from inside Canada is probably confusing CIC. Do you think this is true?

That’s where I plan to land when the time comes. Are you from that area?

Yes! My husband is just 30 minutes away from the border so it's perfect. It's 2 hours from where I live but it's ideal for the frequent crossings and not very busy.
