I hope @jonmarrow is around and has received his long awaited ITA.

Hi @abhishek_89

We sitting on 435 are terribly sad & hopeless, do you still think cutoff can reach 435 by mistake even in the next few months? With the increase in applicants number with high crs how likely is that? I know its a bit early but whats your feedback after todays draw?

I have been following you since some time now and have been sitting in the pool with 435 points since July 27 2017. The challenge i am facing is that i am confused around whether i should recreate my EE profile for Ontario as i seem to have good chances with the fact that they are more selective around the NOC Code: 2171 belonging to computer sciences which i very well possess.

The other side is that with 435 points the tie breaking rule is something of an obstacle these days but also it seems quite presumably obvious that the CRS scores shall not move till this point anywhere near April it seems (although one can never predict with CIC and we see a back to back draw but the flip side is that it might not even still get to exactly 435 and land somewhere above this and less than 440).

I am in a position where my consultant has left it to me to decide whether i resubmit my profile and stick with this one for the next couple of draws to which i am myself very confused.

I know you wouldn't want to answer this question hence i would like to rephrase this question to you in the following way:

"What would you have done if you were in my position? (Making the decision in such a way that the additional 1500$ cost is available to you and at your disposal)"?

The answer to this question might be quite helpful to a lot of people like me in the forum at the higher 435 ish mark and hence an exact answer shall be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Just a Correction : I created my profile on 27 July with lesser points and got to 435 on 27 Oct.

Hi, what does Tie-Breaker mean?

I am at 442 and submitted our application on January 22nd it was updated in EE system on 23rd January. So, if the draw closes at 442, do we qualify?

Another way to post this question is whether the cutt off date get to Jan 24 (considering the profile is re created today ) by April which can be considered as a date (by most obvious majority comments here) where the cut off might touch around 435.

Thanks

If a draw closes at 442, tie breaker rule is used to determine who all will get selected among those who are at 442.
Date of profile creation is used to break the tie. Earlier the better.

FUCKK
I lot 5 points cuz of age
now im at 439
FUCK YOU
and YOU
and YOU and EVERYONE ELSE WORKING AT CIC!!

THEY DELIBERATELY DONT WANT ME TO SUCCEED IN LIFE
I am beginning to think you truly have some bad luck and it might have something to do with your loud mouth.

you once curse people here and threaten to jump off a bridge, maybe you should just calm down.

Hi Folks,

I filed my application on 22nd Jan and had a score of 450. As you all know the round that happened today listed lowest score at 444 and tie breaker at 17th January. I haven't received ITA email and neither my profile has any message stating that I have received an ITA. Want to understand if I would receive an ITA since my score is above 444 or does the date 17th January means that my profile wouldn't be eligible for this round as my date of creation is 22nd January.

To all those who have received the ITA congratulations! And those still waiting don't loose hope.

Thanks,
Varun
