What could be proof of travel if travel not planned yet?

Hi,

I'm applying for visitor visa for my parents but we haven't planned yet when will they come. I'm planning to get married in Canada later this year if their visa gets approved. What can I show as proof of travel, if being a mandatory field?

You apply when you know your plans, not before.

Trying to do so would increase the chances of refusal considerably.

You just make reservation no need to pay

You have to look into this with the airline of your choice. Some have flexible tickets, some let you cancel as long as it is with certain amount of time in advance, etc.

no you can attach itinerary as well which any agent can issue with certain amount or for free it is no issue at all

Its mean you have go to travel agent and he will make for reservation without paying and its called itinerary

When i submitted my application few months ago i didnt make any reservation. I just went online and copied an itinerary from an airline. Like what time the flight is what date what airline etc and it worked out. Do not buy tickets not until you get a visa.

No need for this.

You can either ask a travel agent who has the Amadeus Air Reservation system to hold provisional flight itineraries for your parents. This is 'booked' for free for 24 hours.

Or, do check www.yatra.com. They have a 'Hold for free' booking where you can hold tickets for some days without making any payment.

In either case, you can print off the tickets/provisional bookings for the TRV applications + mention you will buy confirmed tickets when the TRVs are issued
