Hey,

For 432 people with PhD from Ontario, should I wait or go for OINP - PhD Stream? and any insights what is the average processing time of OINP?

Thank you so much for your revert.

I need one more advise.
The expiry date of my old passport was 27 Nov 2018, which was terminated on 5th Jan since i was issued a new passport on 8th.
While updating the PR application with new passport details I am not able to change the expiry date of the old passport in the application.
How do I go about this issue?
That's ok. Add another entry for your new passport.

Thank you for tagging me my dear friend @mqamar1994, may you have all the success in your new life in Canada.

My hearty congratulations go also to @Wandering Mind and @Karnesh

Congratulations also are due to @sundar17feb99 and @trumprefugee for receiving their OINP nominations.

I miss my friend @KingKurly, and wish him nomination soon.

Hats off to you, my dear comrade, for you deserve an applause every time.

There's news from my end too, and this is my opportunity to share my happiness with my forum friends, without whom, I wouldn't be here rejoicing and exclaiming that the best thing that happened to me off-shot from this very forum.

More than gratitude, goes my apologies to my dear friends @lino82, @ivancabrer, @KingKurly, @shaun75, @Wacky1.nash, and @andieangel who were troubled for no reason, but on my personal grounds.

It does seem imminent, now, that I may be joining you all to Canada, courtesy and credit to my hard working and gifted wife @iamxty. Yes, we got married in December, and I am a dependent in her PNP application. We are at IP2 stage currently!! I am glad to publicly proclaim that she is the best thing that happened to me. She really is one in a million!!

I look forward to meet all of you in the maple land!! @tjsecondtry has already initiated a meetup in Toronto, a harbinger towards the realisation of our dream Yukon party, and I shall strive to make it a reality. Everyone shall be welcome!!

All the best to everyone waiting for their ITAs/Nominations. Until next time, adieu friends!!
Wow! Congratulations! And I say it again Congrats. Where is iamxty?

I met a consultant. He claims that if a profile is represented by an immigration lawyer, then the response from CIC is more prompt and gets processed faster. Is this true or yet another gimmick to trap us in? Any views welcome. In Singapore, they charge a whooping 5000 dollars if represented by an immigration lawyer.

Hello Seniors,
It would be great if you could please help me out on the below please-
I am in the process of applying for my girlfriend's PR, she has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry and ideally her NOC falls under 3131 (Industrial Pharmacist) according to the roles and responsibilities. She has a MPharm & BPharm evaluated by WES. I have read conflicting stories on the forum that PEBC ECA is required for NOC3131 but have also heard that WES ECA is fine if a license was not required to practice the profession. She did not require a license to do her job and also she does not intend to practice as a pharmasist in the future in Canada.
Should we go ahead with NOC 3131 with WES evaluation or is PEBC a must?

Alternatively, her roles and responsibilities also match somewhat to NOC 4165 and we could make it work with the work experience letter. NOC 3131 (Industrial pharmacist) is a better fit than NOC4165.

The intended landing destination is Ontario.

Can you please advise what is the best course of action in this case?

I appreciate your response.

Thank You!

Dear

If anyone wish to apply for NOC 3131 than PEBC ECA is must as per IRCC.

WES ECA only works if you would like to apply with other NOC.

But 3131 WES ECA will not eligible.
