Hi Guys,

I could just SCREAM. so i received a letter back Nov 9, 2017 for DNA testing. I paid the $600 fee and made arrangement Nov 15. by December I received email from KVO with appointment date of January 15 now they call Jan 12 that they are cancelling appointment because they only have 1 kit for the son and none for the father.. like WTF is going on here.

they schedule to test Father and Son its obvious you need 2 kit how do you just now 1 business day before appointment know you don't have the kit and they said oh we will call with a new appointment when it becomes available. like really between Nov 15 - Jan 12 they didn't notice this? I'm so frustrated with this whole entire system right now. and to think i was rooting for them and their shitty processes and ridiculously managed departments.

I understand your frustration. We have an appointment for the 15th for DNA testing as well. Who did you go through for your testing? We went through Orchid Pro DNA.

I understand your frustration and I do believe this process could definitely be handled a lot more professionally.

I sent them an email but no respond today. do you know how long does it take for them to respond to emails?
its almost 2 months after interview and they got my passport in interview day and after that i have no news ((

I sent them an email on Jan 8th...I just got an answer about 5 minutes ago...so yours is coming..hang in there..I applied for my husband on May 26th and his interview is on Feb 7th..

We got the email on November 23rd.

I sent them an email on Jan 8th...I just got an answer about 5 minutes ago...so yours is coming..hang in there..I applied for my husband on May 26th and his interview is on Feb 7th..

No, I'm pretty sure they got it. When you sent the email shouldn't be a factor. It looks like they are starting up again to deal with the general public..I also thinks it depends on the immigration officer that's handling your file..some are slower than others. Hopefully you will hear soon.

super unprofessional i called them and gave them a piece of my mind it wasnt a good day for me after the city over charge me for water and i had to cus them off too to come fix my meter that they are responsible for in the first place.

anyways guys I contacted Maxxam who were very helpful. she got the application processed immediately and sent letter to KVO to conduct DNA testing also advise them to keep the original appointment for Monday and provided them all requirement.

so i told hubby kindly show up bright and early Monday morning with the appointment letter and the letter from new lab and make sure they do his testing.
