Hi, I wanted to connect with other Family Sponsorship Applicants from New Delhi.
We have applied under Family Sponsorship - Spouse. Husband is on PR in Canada while I'm in New Delhi

My details are:
Application Received: 16th May '17
NDVO started processing: 14th August '17

Any clue on what the next steps are and tentative timelines.

WELCOME TO NEW DELHI VISA OFFICE 2017 SPOUSAL APPLICANTS FORUM:

1. SPONSOR expectation during the first step:

a. AOR1 or Application package will send back for lack of important document
b. CIC-M might request for missing documents or updated documents - based on your spousal application package was sent
c. Medical, CIC payment, required application forms and Police report check
d. SA = Sponsor Approval email or letter

2. SPONSORED APPLICANT expectation during the second step:

e. AOR2 - from Visa Office
f. missing or updated document request - based on case to case
g. eligibility and criminality check
h. Interview if eligibility is in doubt - based on case to case
i. passport request for visa

My AOR is 8th August 2017. And my file has been in NDVO since November 2017.! So when my PPR is expected.? Can I get tentative time period.?

Hi, i am a silent reader.

July 17 Applicant.

A VERY STRANGE THING HAPPENED TODAY.

My backgroud check shows NOT STARTED on GCkey.

But today two randon people visited personally to my inlaws place (a white man and a brown lady).

Only my mother-in law was present at home.

They 1st asked about me as where am i.

She said i m not present as she has gone for a work so they Inquired further with her and asked her question like:

1) when did they get married?
2) Why they did simple wedding?
3) where did your son work and ur daugther in law work?
And many such random question related to my file.

When my mother in law asked why r u guys asking me such question, they said we are inquiring related to the file ur son has kept for SPOUSE SPONSORSHIP.

Please guys advice if such thing happened to anyone or it is some kind of FRAUD?Huh??

MYSELF and MY HUSBAND ARE REALLY WORRIED, IF THIS HAPPENED TO BE FRAUD?Huh

PLEASE HELP GUYS.....................



If the provided information is not good enough? what they will do? Are they refuse the file or call interview with Applicant? How long it will take after this check? Any idea anyone

Hi, this physical verification process happened in India or in Canada?? What is your present status? Kindly update..

May be some 1 wrote a P.P> letter [poison pen] re: their relations or marriage or something serious. NDVO get many of such letters but they act only where they are very sure. I have heard they go to villages, head of the villages, marriage halls when it is a serious RED Flag re fake marriages or very simple marriage. Harshil what happened to you please share.
