After sending passport, how long does CIC take to stamp the visa

Do u guys have any idea after our status saying approved and counterfoil how much time it takes to dispatch the passport from the Ottawa office
I applied online on 3 December
Passport delivered 12 December
29 December status approved and counterfoil
But now waiting for passport to be dispatch coz I have flight this weekend on Sunday 7 December[/QUOTE

Hi, I was pass requested for student visa & submitted my passport on Dec 4th in Turkey. Have not heard anything back yet. Does anyone know how long it would take to stamp the passport? Please reply I am so worried.

My Passport reached the Ottawa office on January 5th. I have not heard back from them nor is the status updated. I see the status as in progress only. At least they should have updated it to passport received or something. Is there a contact number i can call them at? I live in the US.
