Can you not track it with VFS staff ?

Passport submitted a month ago and it has not returned. On the vfs tracking it says 'in process'. VFS agent said it is not normal for NDVO to keep your passport for a month. VFS told me to contact NDVO to find out what is the issue. But NDVO does not answer calls or reply to emails. It is just not fair to have problems even at this final stage!

Which date you got DM ?
I am waiting for PPR as well, have noticed some receiving PPR same day or the day after. But for some cases, it took around 10 days too post DM for a PPR mail.

Is there any update for any person from NDVO today ?

Hello,

Has anyone submitted any national identity documents apart from the passport as mentioned in the checklist? I know it’s optional, but just wanted to know.

I was thinking of the aadhar or the pan card, but it doesn’t have an expiry date. Also, does it make a difference if one doesn’t submit it?

I applied for my spouse from canada as an international applicant on Jan 2017.
Application was sent back a month later for clarifaction which was resubmitted asap. Was called all the way to delhi for an interview in November 2017 and got approved there. My wife was asked to send in her passport in mid December. With all the. Stat holidays they got in December i doubt they did any work. Now the passport is sitting in the consulate fermenting which just needs a stamp. My portal says its been approved.

This has stressful for my wife and me. We just want to move on with our lives.

Anyone else who has their passports fermenting at the consulate?

All of my husband’s assessments were approved in October 2017; the day BGC started according to my gcms notes but due the backlog, I had to wait 3 months before I could officially get approved (DM) in their system.
