Hi,

I have submitted my express entry profile following is the background,

1) Initially the system calculated a score of 400 for me, but on submission it changed to 373 as my Masters evaluation is pending from WES Canada.

2) I plan to apply for a PNP and for that I got funds from my father as a gift. I am in the US and how long should I wait for the funds to be in my account. I have got an affidavit and gift deed from him too.

Now the questions are,

Is it possible that in the next draw my profile gets rejected because of a low score? (PNP and Masters degree evaluation will take time).

Should I withdraw my profile and wait for the ECA to come through?

Lastly, should I be doing any background work while I wait for my ITA?

you profile will not get rejected. you will stay in the pool until you receive an ITA or you profile expires.
Yes you can start collecting all necessary documents you will need.
With 400 you should try to improve you score or go through the PNPs, as it may be a long time before the draws reach that level.

Thank you for the reply, what all documents should I start collecting?

Also is there any way to get an update when the PNP opens?

Basically you'll need documents to support everything you say in your profile. some docs are for everyone, like passport, ECA, IELTS results, proof of funds, job letters, police certificates...
others are on a case by case basis, like marriage certificate, birth certificate ...

for the PNPs you have to visit their sites regularly.

How did you create your profile if you don't have ECA yet?
