Document needed for WES - ECA

Hi all,

I am interested in immigrating to Canada for work. During my research I found out that I'll need to send my qualification (transcripts/ certificate) to WES for verification.

I have both a bachelors and masters degree from different countries, it would be a lot easier and quicker for me to get my masters degree transcript sent for verification. So I was wondering if I can send my masters degree qualification only for verification? if yes, is there any advantage if included my bachelors degree for verification.

The advantage of getting both assessed is that incase your Masters receives an ECA of Bachelor's then you have two Bachelor's degrees to claim points for.

Else, not getting the Bachelor's assessed will leave you with fewer points for only one equivalency as Bachelor's.

If Masters is assessed as Masters then you don't need the Bachelors assessed.

Both can be assessed by WES under single account and payment. Since you cannot determine the outcome of the assessment beforehand, it is best to get both assessed, in my opinion.

Will doing a ECA of High School (10 & 10+2) give any advantage on getting added points in CSR.
I have a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
Also is it mandatory to get the transcript of mark-sheet or the degree certificate will do good?.
Also both my High School and Degree Certificate are in English and contain grades and GDPA, do I still need a transcript.

Only bachelors degree will fetch you marks here. They won't evaluate high school. It depends on your country and college/Univ. Check on Wes website for what documents you need.

As you are from India it is mandatory to submit transcripts along with degree certificate attested by college/Univ.

Your college/Univ should be able to work on it. Generally it us semester wise.
Attested degree certificate by university/college and Wes form which you will have to fill after paying the fee and enclose it in envelope with other documents

Thank you for your comment.

I would be happy to get advice on following situation:

I have already opened my account in Express Entry and have 53 days left for submission.
I have initiated my EAC from WES after opening the account and have just submitted the application for transcript to my university. As per my assumption, I believe it will take around 30 days to get the transcript and then another 30 days to get the same approved by WES.
Now question is, can I submit my Express Entry application, by selection under Education "Has Niladri Bhattacharya had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) within the past five years for this degree, diploma or certificate?= No" and then update the same to "Yes" after the EAC is done successfully.
Is this allowed by IRCC?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

You cannot submit EE without Wes report. You need to wait for the Wes report. In case EE profile is deleted you can create it again

1. WES report will be sent to IRCC, directly if I understood correctly. Also will the candidate be informed in parallel of the same?.
2. My IELTS (7, 7.5, 7.5, 6.5) will expire on 19th March 2018. Can i still go ahead with submitting my EE, if my WES is received latter to that date?.
3. How many days it take for WES to send report to IRCC, after they receive the transcripts.
4. Also does the

Can i still go ahead with submitting my EE, if my WES is received latter to that date?.-no if you receive Wes later than 19 March then you need to take belts again and then submit EE. To submit EE, it is mandatory to provide Wes report no. And belts score (valid)

Only on the envelope. Ask university to enclose Wes form along with transcripts
