For those who ordered GCMS NOTES; especially if you have already gotten DM and PPR: Can you please share the sequence of your paper location, so that we can get a general idea of what stage our files are at:

FCP Pending Review (Sponsor Eligibility)
In Transit (Transferred to NDVO (AOR2))
Registry (No one is looking at file)
FCU-CARoom (Criminality?)
FCU-DIS (Decision making stage? second review? by Senior Visa Officer?)

If you have something different than this sequence, please let us know!

Unfortunately, My friend I am also April 6th applicant with eligibility still in process forget about background check. It seems we are very few unluckiest persons whose file might takes 12 months or more :( :( ... Really disappointed with no hopes at all. I wish I could had called my spouse on student visa by paying international fees. This immigration process completely ruined our lifes :(

We should consider doing a joint letter to the embassy .. this is really not a fair way to doing things, every other country is giving dependant visa on arrival for spouses when you get married (like my friend who married a girl from India got on arrival visa in US and AUS as well). I am not sure why canada cannot just do that and take as long as they want to do the background work. This really has a huge impact on the married life on both sides, let alone the family and society pressures. These people have no family relations what so ever and live like animals anyways, so they expect other people to live the same way - lonely like them.

I applied for Visitor visa on 4-dec . They refused it with below explanation.

"your Permanent Resident visa will be issued sometime in January 2018".

Is the visa officer sure about that or did he just put it for the sake of giving a reason.

As ur bcg is also started so u are near to dm and ppr so may be this is the reason they rejected ur visitor visa.

On arrival visa in US and AUS? How is that possible.. Maybe I am confused of what you mean here. But I know people from US who married from different countries and had to go through a process as well. Plus a citizen from India needs a visa just to visit these countries.

Nothing! NADA! Nope! I am beyond frustrated. Our anniversary is this month! I really thought I would spend with my spouse. I missed all occasions! Rejection or approval will do! This incessant blind wait is ruining and just unbearable!
I totally emphasize with you, my husband and I missed so many firsts due to this Immigration Process.
I ended up getting the India Visa end of September and was going to go to India in October but then BGC started on Oct. 10 and we thought we were going to get DM in a day or two. Now this is the 3rd month of BGC being in process; tired of this emotional and mental torture!

Have you ever ordered GCMS Notes? Or emailed NDVO? When did your BGC start?

I think everyone frustrated from the system. my friend married UK and she went with husband. she didn't wait for 6 or 10/12 month. Canada immigration system saying they are making sure safe and right people bringing in.

BGC Started on Oct 26. Never ordered GCMS. Emailed once. They replied it's pending review by visa officer. That was in November
