There is no specific time as it depends on the visa officer your file is allocated to. Some applicants get through this process within days and some are stuck for weeks.

PPR can come from within few minutes to more than a month depending on the type of review and security checks. On average it is taking 21 Days from IP2 to PPR nowadays for London Visa Office for PNP.

Can you advise on the status if my medical has changed from passed to under review subsequent to addition of new born?

Thanks

This will change back to pass once new medical reports are passed by the Medical Department.
Thanks Bill.

I had got my wife's xray done in August and subsequently medical status was changed to passed in September. However, since then I have not received any request for medical of newborn (is it compulsory or as per discretion of reviewing officer - refer below for CIC communication?).

ADR was received twice since August

1st ADR - updated IMM 8 and 5406 for self + spouse

2nd ADR - updated Schedule A Online for self

My primary concern is that my medical is due to expire on 26 Feb 2018 and I am hoping I am able to get my PPR asap and get my landing done before medical expiry.

This was the 1st ADR:

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require that you upload the following documents to your MyCIC account:

- Updated IMM8 and IMM5406 forms for you and your spouse, to include details of your new baby

- Documents for the baby: copy of the birth certificate showing the names of both parents, copy of the passport bio page, one passport size photograph (please ensure this is sent as a .jpg document) and online payment receipt for CAD 150

Once the above documents have been received, your baby will be added to your application and medical instructions will be issued for him/her.

Thanks for your help!

I am IP2 since Nov 8. Schedule A background declaration form was requested on Nov 29 and submitted on Dec 04. Still waiting for PPR.
Is there anything to worry or everything is alright?

Same here. Schedule A submitted 7 December. Still no word. Let's just try to be patient and expect the best.

The only thing to worry about is that your file is in London Visa Office.

Files are likely to be processed from Next year onwards as many officers are on annual holidays.

I’m afraid because Schedule A in IP2 may trigger security screening, God forbid.
I've been in IP2 since 8 November or so. I'm not bothered about security screening. There's nothing to find. I just need them to hurry up.!! Staying patient is all I'm doing now

But the thing is that why are they taking so much time to issue PPR.
